CBSE Exam 2022: If the situation is not normal in the session 2022, then the result will be ready from the Term-1 exam, understand from 4 situations

Taking lessons from the challenges of the pandemic in the last session, the Central Board of Secondary Education has announced major changes in the examination pattern for the academic session 2022.

CBSE has prepared a special scheme of Term-1 Examination and Term 2/Annual Examination by dividing the syllabus into two sessions. Along with this, CBSE has also told that how the result will be prepared if the situation does not remain normal like in 2021. CBSE has explained it according to different situations.

Situation – 1

According to the latest CBSE notification, if the situation remains like this during the Term-1 examination in November-December 2021. If the schools are completely closed, then the students will be able to give the MCQ based examination of term 1 through online / offline mode from their home. But Term-2 examination will be conducted in schools or examination centres.

Situation – 2

On the other hand, if during the Term-2 examination i.e. in March-April 2022, the situation remains such that the schools are completely closed, then the result will be prepared on the basis of Term 1 examination only. In this rule, the weightage of marks of term 1 will be increased.

Situation – 3

CBSE has decided to give the third type of situation in which the schools do not open during both term 1 and term 2, then students will have to give both the exams from home. Especially for class 10 and 12 students. In such case the result will be prepared on the basis of internal assessment/ practical/ project work and theory marks of term 1 and 2).

Situation – 4

If the pandemic ends and the schools remain open during both the term examinations then the examinations of both term-1 and term-2 will be conducted in the school/examination centre.
