CBSE Collaborates with C-DAC Mohali to Conduct Training Programme for School Heads on Digital Marketing

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has joined forces with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Mohali to organize an extensive training programme for Heads of all CBSE-affiliated schools. This unique initiative, titled ‘Fundamentals of Digital Marketing Using Social Media Platforms,’ falls under the umbrella of the FutureSkills Prime programme.

The training program, designed to enhance the digital marketing skills of school leaders, will consist of six sessions conducted by experts from C-DAC. The primary objectives of this initiative are to provide participants with a foundational understanding of digital marketing and social media marketing, teach them how to leverage social media platforms effectively to promote their schools, and develop their skills in creating and executing successful social media marketing campaigns.

The scheduled training sessions, each spanning two hours, cover a wide range of topics essential for modern school promotion. The sessions will commence on the 18th of March 2024 and conclude on the 26th of March 2024.

The detailed schedule includes an introduction to social media platforms, establishing an online presence through websites and Google My Business Page, building a YouTube repository for learning, video content creation, email marketing techniques, understanding social media metrics, and delving into Google ADS and Google AdSense.

The discounted course fee, available through a single-use promo code for CBSE, is set at Rs.10/- plus applicable GST. For those not availing the discount, the enrollment course fee is Rs.75/- plus GST.
