The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended an invitation to knowledgeable and experienced individuals to register as aspirant Resource Persons for their upcoming Capacity Building and other programs. The aim of these programs is to enhance the professional competency of teachers and educators in shaping future citizens.
CBSE recognizes the crucial role that teachers play in the educational landscape and seeks to ensure the success of their programs by providing opportunities for experts to share their expertise with principals, teachers, and staff members of CBSE affiliated schools. The board is actively seeking individuals from various educational backgrounds, including serving or retired professionals from recognized schools, colleges, institutions, autonomous organizations, deemed universities, private and government universities, elementary schools, and other relevant organizations.
To qualify as a Resource Person, candidates should meet specific criteria set by CBSE. These criteria include demonstrated knowledge and expertise in a particular subject area, teaching methodology, or educational field relevant to the CBSE systems. Ideally, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of teaching or teacher training experience, with a proven track record of excellence, preferably in CBSE schools. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with a creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning, incorporating current trends and best practices in education. Proficiency in languages such as Hindi and English is required, and candidates should also be well-versed in the latest information technology and digital tools to facilitate online, offline, or blended mode of program delivery.
Interested individuals can register themselves as aspirant Resource Persons on the official training portal of CBSE, Prashikshan Triveni, by visiting www.cbse.gov.in. The online application will be reviewed by the concerned Center of Excellence (CoE) or Training Unit – HQ. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further interaction and assessment.
It should be noted that the registration process is ongoing and available 24/7. Inclusion in the pool of Resource Persons will be based on qualifications, experience, relevance of expertise to CBSE’s training programs, and performance in the assessment process.
Existing Resource Persons within the CBSE system need not register again.
Details regarding remuneration, travel allowance, and other applicable benefits for Resource Persons can be found on the CBSE website at https://cbseit.in/cbse/2022/ET/assets1/pdf/5018_TrainingRateRevision_2023.pdf.
For any technical issues, individuals are advised to contact their respective Center of Excellence or Ms. Sudesh Gulia, Under Secretary (IT), Training Unit, CBSE, Delhi, at [email protected].
This initiative by CBSE demonstrates their commitment to fostering continuous professional development among educators and highlights the importance of sharing knowledge and skills within the educational community. By inviting experienced professionals to become Resource Persons, CBSE aims to create a collaborative environment where educators can learn from each other and collectively contribute to the growth and development of the education sector.
